Drip. Drip. Drip.
I'm sitting on one of the Black Hole Couches in my apartment (named thus because once you sit down you will never get up because they're so effing comfortable) and I keep getting distracted by our dripping ceiling. Our neighbors upstairs have a REAL balcony (one you can actually stand on, as opposed to our 6-inch faux balcony) so we think the water is dripping from there. It's not even raining right now, so what is actually dripping I'm not certain. Our landlord is pissed because he can't fix it himself and needs to get professionals to do it. We just want to able to put away the cooler in the middle of the floor we're catching all the water with.
It's actually a glorious day and I should be outside, but I'm feeling pretty lazy. Taking a class is kind of stressing me out, as is my internship. It was so glorious not to have homework or deadlines for about 2 weeks there. Now, no such inner peace.
I went to the Farmer's Market this morning to do some interviews. WSJ profiles market vendors every Wednesday in the Taste section, so they wanted me to go interview a bunch so we can put profiles together in advance. I really enjoyed talking with the people. A lot of them were pretty eccentric, like the guy wearing a shirt out of the same fabric as a piece of cloth hung up behind him, a la Garden State. It made me pretty happy. Not gonna lie, I also like wandering around with my face and 'Wisconsin State Journal' on the same piece of plastic hung around my neck. Makes me feel pretty B.A.
I'm going to go meet Molly now. 3 phone calls and a voicemail later made me answer my phone and let her con me into laying on Bascom with her. Boooooo moving. Yay sun.
